Frequently Asked Questions

Courses can be accessed on all major browsers and devices, including desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones. Compatible devices include PC and Mac computers, and iOs and Android tablets and phones. Supported browsers include Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
A qualifying licensee must provide proof of completion of required hours of continuing education per two year license cycle in the appropriate category in which the construction supervisor is licensed.
  • Unrestricted Construction Supervisors License - 12 Hours Required
  • Restricted Construction Supervisors License (One & Two-Family Dwellings) - 10 Hours Required
  • Specialty Construction Supervisors License - 6 Hours Required (Exception - Building officials who are certified and in good standing in accordance with Section R7 are exempt from Section R5.4.)

Course access is cumulative. A single course is accessible for 30 days from the date of purchase. When two courses are purchased at the same time, both are accessible for 60 days total (3 courses for 90 days, 4 courses for 120 days, 5 courses for 150 days, 6 courses for 180 days).
If your course access period has ended, and you need to complete the course or you wish to re-take the same course in a different licensing cycle, please contact Martha Green at mgreene@mindedge.com so you can purchase it again.
You cannot enroll and complete the same class more than once in the same licensing cycle. You may take it again in a different licensing cycle.
Licenses must be renewed every two years.  For an additional fee, licenses can be renewed. There is a one year grace period to renew licenses after expiration.  For questions about license applications contact:

As a professional, you are responsible for keeping track of all courses related to your licensure. While this website includes a history of all online courses you've purchased, it does not track any classroom courses or other continuing education related to your licensure.
Each course is $39. Customers receive a discount of $9 per course if purchasing 3 or 4 courses, and a discount of $16 per course if purchasing 5 or more.

You need to complete your continuing education every two years. Renewal dates are based on your birthdate.
Yes. Our instructors update their courses regularly to reflect all current building codes (and associated codes).

If you need to drop/cancel a course that has been paid for, you may request a 100% refund up to 5 days from the purchase date. No refunds will be issued after 5 days from the purchase date. A refund is contingent upon you completing less than 10% of the course content. If more than 10% of the course has been completed, no refund will be issued.
